FINANCE SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support;
• Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management;
• Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting;
• Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts;
• Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions;
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials;
• Increases productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Accounting or in a relevant field;
• 2+ years experience in Accounting, Audit or Finance;
• Fluency in Azeri and English languages;
• Proficient user of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Basic knowledge of accounting (Azerbaijan and international standards)
• Logical mathematical intelligence;
• A certain level of flexibility regarding availability outside normal working hours;
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities;
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
• Attentive, responsible, punctual, quick, hardworking;
• Strong time management skills.
