Position: Financial Manager
Responsibilities:
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation;
• Providing and interpreting financial information;
• Analyzing change and advising accordingly;
• Budget planning and control of budget execution;
• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;
• Formulating strategic and long-term business plans;
• Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance;
• Analyzing competitors and market trends;
• Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;
• Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
• Managing a company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
• Regular planning and forecasting of cash flows;
• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
• Coordination and control of the work of financial department;
• Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts: auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the inland revenue;
• Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
• Managing budgets;
• Arranging new sources of finance for a company’s debt facilities;
• Supervising staff;
Requirements:
• Higher (financial / economic) education;
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (min 3 years manager experience);
• Ability to build effective financial management system;
• High managerial skills, a systematic approach, including excellent planning skills and the organization of work, including project work;
