“PASHA Bank” OJSC is seeking an Information Security Specialist on Database and Application (Application) for Information Security Department.

The Bank’s main areas of non-oil sector of the economy – agribusiness, transportation, construction, trade and other areas of the economy that contribute to the diversity of services.
MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining policy framework for controlling access of database and applications for management of highly privileged users
• Maintaining access control of applications for bank users
• Conducting regular monitoring of access rights taking into account updated information on relocated/dismissed employees
• Conducting regular control highly privileged database user’s actions
• Investigating databases and applications for potential threats and known vulnerability
• Monitoring all types of database activity, including control who, when, where and how accessed the databases
• Investigate non-authorized/non-authenticated access requests and database attacks using specialized tools and systems
• Auditing of information security events (failed connect attempts, failed logins, etc.) on database and application systems, analysing deficiencies and developing mitigation measures
• Participating in implementation process of new database and application security systems
• Controlling backup process of database and applications
• Controlling key management process
• Conducting penetration tests, vulnerability scans (web applications, mostly Java and JavaScript, and mobile applications), incident alert investigation
• Execution of response and recovery plan during or after an event
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Minimal level of relevant experience: 3 years
QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree
• Education directions: Computer Science; Informatics; Applied Mathematics
• Java Programmer certification and Security certification are advantage
SKILLS
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani, English, Russian
• Cyber Security oriented skills
• Team player, excellent communication skills, good time management
• Organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously with attention to processes
• Ability and experience in writing clear and concise technical documentation
