Senior Financial Specialist
We are looking for Senior Specialists in Finance with strong background in related field and strong analytical and numerical skills.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and exhibits; prepare and audit general journal entries, payment, cash and etc.;
• Maintain adequate records of expenditures, funds, appropriations, and expenses, as well as revenue collected and deposited;
• Prepare monthly status analysis of funds and expenditures, and prepares technical reports on estimates, cost data, and budget items;
• Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spread sheets, reports and correspondence as required;
• Analyze balance sheets, income statements and other financial reports of the company;
• Participate at overall group financial and managerial reporting process;
• Analyze and recommend improvements, adaptation, or revisions to the accounting system and accompanying procedures;
• Work closely with the Holding Finance Controller to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters;
• Plan, organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the group’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner;
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly reports to the management.
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in Economics;
• 2+ years experience in Accounting, Audit or Finance;
• Fluency in Azeri and English languages;
• Proficient user of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Basic knowledge of accounting (Azerbaijan and international standards)
• Logical mathematical intelligence;
• A certain level of flexibility regarding availability outside normal working hours;
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
• Attentive, responsible, punctual, quick, hardworking;
• Strong time management skills.
