Job Responsibilities
• Leads and provides supervision for the directional drilling operation at the wellsite that ensures the desired directional path and drilling targets are achieved in a safe and economic manner.
• Responsible for BHA being assembled as per well / engineering plan.
• Calculation of Torque and Drag, Whirl, Force, geometry and hydraulics analysis of BHA.
• Anti-collision risks and calculation of well path correction
• Responsible for the operation, inspection and maintenance of motors and downhole tools at rig site.
• Monitors and calculates well trajectory, torque and drag, hydraulics.
• Responsible for the generation and content of daily and Final Well reports on services performed.
• Responsible for maintaining well profile plots and providing customer with directional survey data.
• Collaborates with the MWD team to ensure BHA specification and engineering optimization parameters are realized.
• Maintains equipment records of equipment at wellsite.
• Well control, mud system, cementing operation and casing skills .
• Responsible for all communication from wellsite with internal personnel and customer representatives on location.
• Be ready to take responsibilities in office as DD Coordinator if required.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
• Enforces all safety precautions and practices;
• Mentoring and participating in training of new DD field engineers

VAKANSİYA 2: Measurement While Drilling / Logging While Drilling Engineer

• Technical High School / University education: Diploma/Bachelor degree
• Experience as MWD/LWD Engineer Minimum 3-5 years (Sperry Drilling Tools and Software is preferable)
• Good arithmetic, data entry, and recording skills
• Proven competency in computer software.
• Ability to take make effective recommendations to resolve issues
• Directional drilling measurement theory
• Safety certifications
Job Responsibilities
• Provide on-site supervision of the measurement while drilling (MWD) and logging while drilling (LWD) process, including
tool preparations, data acquiring, quality control and delivery service to the customer.
• Be ready to serve as lead engineer on most of the jobs if required.
• Provides technical expertise in areas which include mud hydraulics, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) planning, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies and mud systems.
• Ensures all required equipment arrives at the well-site and returns to the base after job completed. Makes sure all protective equipment is used before transportation.
• Properly tests all equipment before, during and after each job. Identifies and corrects operational problems to prevent or minimize service impact.
• Accurately completes all required paperwork, including forms, database and reports.
• Communicates with the Directional Driller/Supervisor to ensure BHA compatibility, planned operating parameters are within specification and correct toolface reference are applied.
• Makes rig up all required MWD surface equipment and hardware at the well-site including checking/testing surface sensors.
• Provides interpretation of MWD data to the client and/or directional drilling supervisor if required.
• Ensures that MWD system parts are serviced immediately upon completion of the job as soon as possible. Failures or washout are reported to the supervisor.
• Ensures all upgrades and modifications are completed to the MWD system hardware and software as advised by the MWD Coordinator/Operations Manager, if required.
• Ensures MWD equipment is in safe working order and compliant with all regulations during the job
• Ensures all allocated MWD field equipment, stock and tools match the required standards as provided by Standard Directional operating procedures. Report all exceptions, damage or missing inventory.
• Ensure all safety requirements of field MWD operations are adhered to and be fully aware of all requirements detailed within the safety manual (Lithium battery kit).
• Assisting and mentoring trainee field staff when required.
• Meets and follows all Safety standards of our company and customer Safety rules on-site.
• Responsible for appropriate care of vehicles, equipment and tools ensuring optimization of up time for the MWD equipment
• Maintains sustainable client relationships by supporting the Standard of Directional Drilling
