A young and dynamic hotel management company in Azerbaijan managing a world-class portfolio of hotels and resorts, ABSHERON Hotel Group is looking for Chief Accountant for its Hotel Units.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of monthly statutory accounts and financial statements under USALI.
Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.
Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Assist with annual budgets – prepares all allocations.
Assures compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.
Review and comment both purchasing and sales agreements.
Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Professional experience of at least 3-5 years in hospitality.
Higher economic education – essential.
Possession of specialized accounting software (ERP systems).
Excellent knowledge of accounting and taxation.
Good knowledge in legal matters.
Ability to make corporate reporting under USALI.
Leadership – the willingness to make decisions and take responsibility.
Good knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
High communication skills.
Knowledge of OPERA, Micros billing systems is advantage.
