Manager in Deals practice – PricewaterhouseCoopers Azerbaijan

Who are we looking for

A highly energetic and enthusiastic individual to fill in a vacancy of Manager in our Deals practice within Advisory Line of Services. In this role will have the opportunity to develop your career and contribute to the shape of our future business working with our top-tier clients.
You will be working on a wide range of transactions including M&A, debt and equity capital raising, financial restructuring, business valuation and managing the team of junior consultants, reporting directly to the Director.

About the role

You will be responsible for the execution and delivery of work across various engagements. You will:
• Assist in origination and execution of Corporate Finance transactions
• Be involved in preparation and pitching of presentations for clients, investors and broader investment community
• Financial statement analyses and financial modelling
• Carry out company and industry research in the context of the origination and execution of the transactions
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Efficiently supervise junior colleagues and own responsibility of their work
• Supervise valuation of public and private companies by utilizing DCF, market comparable  and cost approaches
• Attend client meetings and follow up on required tasks
• Manage team of junior consultants, work on their development
• Assume a leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modelling
• Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients
• Identify new business development opportunities and actively engage in its delivery
• Supervise, develop and mentor professionals at more junior levels.

As an ideal candidate you will

• Have a Degree in Economics or Finance, Mathematics, Accounting
• Will be holder of or studding toward one of the following professional qualifications: CFA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, DipIFR, ACA
• Have a minimum 5 years of work experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and financial management
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of valuation theory, business modelling and demonstrated practical experience in the field
• Able to effectively manage project workflow and drive the delivery within the tough deadlines
• Able to manage effective client relationship at all levels
• Able to operate in multitask environment
• Excellent analytical skills
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian and English
• Have strong business writing and presentation skills
