We are currently looking for IFRS Reporting Specialist.
The duties will include:
• Participate in preparation and compilation of interim and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS requirements and ensure their completeness and correctness
• Preparation of WTB, transformation file and adjustments with all required comments and working files
• Actively participate in interdepartmental work of Reporting Team, Budgeting Team and Accounting Team with the aim to increase the efficiency of reporting process and increase the speed of obtaining necessary information for monthly closing procedures
• Liaison, processing of queries, collection and provision of information to external and internal auditors
• Provide technical advice to accounting team on treatment of different events and transactions based on IFRS requirements
• Regularly analyze IFRS to understand their implications and follow regular updates on technical issues and accounting standard developments
Requirements:
• University degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, and Economics
• Relevant ACCA certification is an outstanding advantage (ACCA/CIMA/CPA part-qualified students are preferred)
• More than two (2) years of experience in IFRS reporting or audit (preferably in an Industrial areas or in audit/advisory firm)
• Relevant technical experience in compilation of IFRS financial statements and disclosures, preparation of IFRS transformation and adjustment tables
• Good theoretical knowledge of IFRS
• Experience with 1C or any other ERP/accounting software would be an advantage
• Experience in MS standard package, in particular, strong experience of working in Microsoft Excel
• Fluent Azerbaijani, intermediate Russian and English
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
