“PASHA Bank” OJSC is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for protecting of valuable application and database assets within bank from wide range of threats in order to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of all valuable business information.
MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To perform Database Security Administration for Bank’s systems (data security, data masking, data access types, data monitoring, monitor admin activity, investigate suspicious activity, security reporting)
• To manage solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security.
• To maintain database security by monitoring of database parameters; implementing new security rules according to security policies; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating potential impact of possible attacks and abusing of privileged activity;
• To pay maximum attention on timings and team work for security based assignments
• Advise Management on Long-Term Capacity Plans and Growth
• Continually Review Processes for Improvement
• Ensure Database Setup Meets Industry standards
• Work Closely with Security & DB Admins Teams with Regards to Database Security Policies and Current Design
SKILLS:
• Good knowledge of infrastructure platforms – Unix, Linux.
• Good understanding of antivirus, SIEM and configuration management tools
• Good understanding of Database Security Systems and Solutions.
• Good understanding of vulnerability management and associated tools
• Good understanding of OWASP and effectively applying its concepts and standards
• Good Unix/Linux shell scripting and PL/SQL skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with all types of threat and risk, vendor assessments
• Understand System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and agile methodologies
• Knowledge of audit, IT operational and/or IT risk management experience
• Knowledge of IT general control components including logical access and security, change management, production operation and support, development and coding practices, and secure information management practices
• Cyber Security Certifications would be an asset
