Account manager (commercial)
About the position
Account manager will report to the Project Manager. The key role of the position is to manage assigned local and international accounts from commercial perspective, develop partner relationships and conduct sales & marketing activities. The position will work across the whole team to meet broad needs of the account. Ideally, the candidate will have an in-depth experience in finance, banking and digital marketing.
Scope:
(1) Develop the accounts
• Develop strategies for the account in accordance with general project strategies;
• Identify product selling points;
• Determine commercial aspects of partnership (feasibility, pricing);
• Negotiate with partners to add them to the service portfolio;
• Identify target customer selection and communication methods;
Add value by helping the project team focus on key sales and marketing initiatives;
Keep updated research on market terms, pricing and cost structures related to the accounts;
(2) Advise Product Development & Design
• Develop business requirements for products in cooperation with the product team and continually challenge need for updates;
• Participate in design of UI / UX of the products;
• Advise the technical and product team during the process of product design and development;
• Advise and provide value add by recommending new products (including recommending to eliminate products;
• Advise on pricing and respective communications;
(3) Commercial management
Prepare regular analyses of product pricing in a relevant market segment, costing and competitive trends;
Prepare selling points of the product from pricing point of view to the Sales & Marketing team;
Develop revenue models and monetization strategies;
Help develop the strategic plans.
Contribute to sales activities by advising and guiding on how to effectively and efficiently acquire customers;
• Recommend effective digital marketing and traditional marketing tools for maximum customer awareness and traction;
(4) Partner relationships
• Maintain strong business and personal relationships with partners;
• Identify pain points in partnerships and resolve them timely;
• Measure partner satisfaction levels and act upon it;
Requirements
Education:
University education in marketing, technology, IT or similar fields; unless you can convince otherwise.
Work experience:
At least one year in technology, financial services, digital products roles in a technology or financial services organizations.
Experience with business plans, financial modeling, strategic research and product development are strengths factors. If you don’t have the relevant experience, but strongly believe in yourself, challenge us.
IT skills:
Strong PowerPoint, Visio and MS Excel skills; other skills relevant to the scope are additional advantages.
