“Baku Boulevard Hotel ” is looking for a Corporate Sales Manager.
This position is critical to the success of the hotel and requires and individual who is naturally at ease with people, can think quickly on their feet and is determined to succeed. This position will be heavily focused on prospecting for new business by cold calling in person.

The hotel is affiliated with the Autograph Collection, Marriott’s brand featuring an exclusive portfolio of upscale independent hotels and resorts. Boulevard Hotel offers 818 comfortable rooms and it will be the largest conference hotel in Azerbaijan. It provides perfect accessibility to all major business and cultural sites of the city as well as the finest facilities that are designed to suit a wide variety of occasions and functions.
Baku Boulevard Hotel is managed by Absheron Hotel Group and is a part of Autograph Collection, Marriott’s brand featuring exclusive portfolio of upscale independent hotels and resorts. Absheron Hotel Group also manages Pik Palace and Park Chalet Hotels in Shahdag Mountain Resort, Shamakhi Palace Sharadil and Intourist Hotel Baku opening in 2015.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Acquire and maintain a solid base of accounts towards attaining the property’s budgeted profit levels.
• Solicit sales for the property through planned, personal calls and telephone solicitations to local trade and professional associations/corporations, travel agents, as well as other local and state organizations that could result in potential business for the hotel.
• Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Target new clients and deliver new business
-Deliver and maintain the exceptional levels of customer service provided
-Establish strong and professional relationships with guests/clients
-Have a good command of the departmental budget and targets
• Take initiative to develop new strategies and uncover new markets to generate sales.
• Target accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation.
• Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.
• Provide operations staff up-to-the-minute information regarding specific accounts.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 3+ years of sales experience required
• Previous hospitality industry experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer/client focus essential
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to work in high pressure environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to shift and manage multiple priorities
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include, but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
