VACANCY 1st: Network Administrator
Gilan Holding is looking to recruit skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our highly professional team.
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
• Minimum 4 or more years of experience supporting domain environments, VMware and LINUX in a LAN environment, including software installation, maintenance and support;
• Strong experience with Microsoft Server 2008/2012 and MS Exchange 2010/2013/2016;
• Prior experience in a help desk environment;
• Fluency in Azeri, Russian and English languages;
• Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, etc.), Cisco Certificates: CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft Certificates, VMWare Certificates, Linux Certificates;
• Experience with Cisco IOS, VOIP phone technology (CUCM, Avaya, Asterisk), Site-to-Site VPN, Wireless Networks and design and implementation of IP networks;
• Good communication skills and strong commitment to customer-service;
• Ability to work with such kind of hypervisors as Hyper-V a ESXi;
• Ability to work with Storage Systems. (install, maintain, upgrade, support);
• Ability to work with Hardware Servers. (install, maintain, upgrade, support);
• Ability to work with Firewalls and VPN servers.
Responsibilities:
• Administer routers, switches, firewalls, IP phones, software deployment, security updates and patches;
• Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components;
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware;
• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security;
• Evaluate and modify system’s performance;
• Participate in the development of Foundation security policies;
• Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users;
• Oversee the day-to-day operations and monitoring of the Foundation network including hardware, software, and special projects;
• Deploy, configure, and maintain network security systems such as firewalls, authentication systems, intrusion prevention and detection, group policy, and network monitoring;
• Deploy, configure, and maintain servers (physical and virtual), switches, and routers;
• Evaluate and modify system’s performance;
• Plan, recommend and assist in the selection and implementation of new technologies;
• Maintain technology and user documentation, support logs and procedures.

• Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), VMWare Certificates, Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Unix and Microsoft;
• Four or more years of experience supporting domain environments, VMware and LINUX in a LAN environment, including software installation, maintenance and support;
• Strong experience with Microsoft Server 2008/2012 and MS Exchange 2010/2013/2016;
• Prior experience in a help desk environment;
• Good communication skills and strong commitment to customer-service;
• Ability to work with such kind of hypervisors as Hyper-V a ESXi;
• Ability to work with Storage Systems. (install, maintain, upgrade, support);

• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations;
• Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems;
• Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use;
• Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements;
• Participate in the development of Foundation security policies;
• Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software;
• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems;
• Oversee the day-to-day operations and monitoring servers including hardware, software, and special projects;
• Create backup jobs and verify backup data;
• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes;
• Install and test computer-related equipment;
• Review application logs;
• Install and configure MS SQL ORACLE databases.
