Position Head of Ambient Warehouse
Department: Food Buying & Supply Chain
Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Manage Ambient Warehouse team
Sets clear team goals and escalate targets
Delegates tasks and set deadlines
Job Role Responsibilities:
Organization and control of the smooth and efficient shipment of finished products to supermarkets, its warehousing and storage
Manage the subordinates
Receipt of the finished product and its placement at warehouse
Verify the correspondence of the goods delivered with the documents accompanied
Organize sorting and dispatching of received products according to the orders
Control preservation of stored inventory items and compliance with storage conditions
Establish and maintain the order in the expedition area of warehouse
Monitor compliance with the rules of registration and reporting of credit/debit documents, prepare established reports
Participate in stocktaking
Plan and schedule all distribution services including, receiving, storing, shipping, delivery, cutting and handling returned/damaged goods to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient manner.
Liaise with warehouse and transport staff to ensure effective loading and unloading of vehicles
Have a clear understanding of the Company’s polices and vision and how the Warehouse contributes to these.
Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary
Maintain standards of H&S hygiene and security in the work environment
Delegate and ensure work is completed on time and in full
Position Qualification
Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices
3+ years of warehousing experience
Experience handling an 5,000+ Square meter warehouse/inventory.
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Numeracy and an understanding of finance
Knowledge of operating a warehouse
People management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas
Planning and organizing skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Analytical ability
Initiative and decisiveness
Technical and IT skills. ( 1C, SAP and others)
Ability to talk in Azerbaijani, understanding in English and Russian
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to create and manage warehouse processes
