Vacancy: Human Resources Assistant
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide daily administrative support to the HR Manager
• Assist recruiting by reference checking and sourcing resumes during heavy recruiting periods
• Greet and direct visitors as needed
• Filing and maintenance of personnel records
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by HR Manager
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues
• Ability to use tact when delivering information to others
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• HR certification preferred
