Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and prepare audit reports in accordance with internationally recognized auditing standards;
  • Prepare recommendation letters for company management;
  • Carry out managerial instructions and requirements with high professionalism;
  • Prepare periodic reports on completed work in prescribed formats;
  • Understand client businesses and develop work plans based on project specifics;
  • Review and approve planned audit procedures before starting fieldwork;
  • Delegate responsibilities to subordinates necessary for project execution;
  • Supervise and instruct team auditors (including guidance to junior team members when needed);
  • Support professional development of subordinates;
  • Adhere to professional ethics;
  • Travel for work purposes based on job specifics;
  • Coordinate effective communication with other departments;
  • Continuously improve professional knowledge (attending seminars, staying informed on legislative updates, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Higher education in economics, finance/auditing, or business administration;
  • Excellent knowledge of internationally recognized auditing principles and standards;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete them within deadlines and budgets;
  • Ability to prepare and manage annual budgets according to set plans;
  • Experience in managing a team (senior auditor, assistant manager, intern-assistants), developing their training plans, and supporting continuous development;
  • Ability to present audit planning memorandums and solutions to significant audit issues to partners;
  • Deep knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
  • Act in accordance with company policies and professional standards;
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience as an auditor;
  • High proficiency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian;
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • A professional accounting certificate such as ACCA (minimum Level 2), CPA, or equivalent is required; ACCA Level 3 student status is mandatory;
  • Experience in Big Four companies is considered an advantage.
