You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of digital projects within our organization. You will lead the Quality Assurance (QA) team within the Digital PMO, overseeing the testing and quality control processes for all digital projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the projects meet the required quality standards, are delivered on time, and align with the organization’s strategic goals. You will work collaboratively with project managers, development teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Digital PMO(Project Management Office) QA(Quality Assurance) team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures for digital projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define clear quality standards, project scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Review project documentation and deliverables to ensure they meet the required quality standards and adhere to best practices.
- Plan, execute, and monitor all testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify and manage risks related to project quality, ensuring that mitigation plans are in place.
- Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring timely bug fixes and retesting.
- Establish and maintain metrics and KPIs for measuring the success and effectiveness of the QA processes.
- Participate in project status meetings and provide regular updates on QA progress and any quality-related issues.
- Conduct periodic QA reviews and audits to assess compliance with QA standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in QA and digital project management, and introduce relevant improvements to processes.
- Coordinate with external vendors and third-party partners to ensure their deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Act as a point of contact for quality-related inquiries and provide guidance to cross-functional teams on QA best practices.
- Collaborate with the PMO leadership team to ensure that digital projects are aligned with the overall project portfolio and strategic objectives.
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of QA tools and software to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of QA processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in managing quality assurance for digital projects, preferably within a PMO environment.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience leading and mentoring QA teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing QA processes, strategies, and standards.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and practices in a digital environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) and project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or other project management methodologies.
