We are recruiting for Finance Manager position on behalf of AZENCO OJSC.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Control Finance Department
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with acting legislation
• Manage company’s financial resources and conduct resource planning for future needs
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, AP, AR, credit control, reconcile bank and investment account
• Prepare IFRS based Financial Statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement on the monthly, quarterly and annual bases.
• Review monthly results and implement monthly variance report
• Prepare and analyze Financial Budget and make monthly, quarterly and annual comparison between budget and actual dates. Manage monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process
• Analyze actual dates and company profitability, looking for methods for its increasing and stability
• Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
• Report to management and stakeholders, and provide advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
• Set up and oversee company’s finance IT system
• Train accounting staff
• Manage internal controls
• Participate in development and manage financial modeling and reporting tools for various functional areas;
• Compare and analyze financial and other operating results against established plans and targets;
• Analyze financial impact of marketing and operations initiatives;
• Create and distribute routine as well as ad hoc reports and analyses;
• Communicate results via presentations to the executive team;
• Support the company store annual operating plan process by developing and maintaining financial models and tools;
• Works with Operations and other functional departments to create financial forecasts, evaluate and report on actual versus projected performance, and identify risk and opportunities to assist in driving results;
• Build, maintain and distribute dashboards to assist with tracking and reporting of key performance indicators;
• Review trends and exception reports to identify and communicate opportunities to various functional areas;
Skills, knowledge and experience
• Higher education (preferable MBA) in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years experience in finance, 3+ years in senior position
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence / data visualization tools or data cubes
• Must have experience with accounting/financial software and databases/ERP systems
• Advanced IFRS knowledge, professional accounting certificate ACCA or CFA preferred
• Proven experience as director of finance or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
• Native Azerbaijani language, advanced English and Russian languages are extra advantages
• Problem-solving skills and initiative

• Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
• Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
• Capacity to make quick but rational decisions
• Potential to lead and motivate others
