On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Head of Legal.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide full legal support for the company’s operations
• Review and approve contracts, decisions, orders, and internal documents
• Ensure compliance with Azerbaijani legislation and internal policies
• Advise management on corporate, commercial, labor, civil, and administrative law
• Review service, supply, subcontract, and EPC contracts
• Participate in negotiations with public and private entities
• Represent the company before courts and state authorities
• Draft and review internal regulations, policies, and procedures
• Monitor legal compliance across all departments
• Identify legal risks and recommend preventive measures
• Lead and supervise the legal team
• Perform corporate secretary duties for the Board and Shareholders’ Meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.M is an advantage)
• 7–10+ years of professional legal experience, including managerial roles
• Strong background in corporate and commercial law, EPC projects
• Deep knowledge of Azerbaijani legislation and international contract standards
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian
