1. Strategic Development & Execution
· Lead the creation and execution of the retail expansion strategy, starting with the first store in Baku City.
· Define the retail operating model (format, layout, customer flow, staffing) and replicate it across future locations.
· Set and monitor key performance indicators across revenue, footfall, conversion rate, and profitability.
2. Store Launch & Operations Management
· Oversee all aspects of store openings: site selection, design, permitting, construction, POS setup, and staffing.
· Build and implement SOPs covering inventory, cashiering, hygiene, service standards, and shrinkage control.
· Coordinate soft launches and full-scale opening campaigns with the Marketing team.
3. Team Leadership
· Recruit and onboard the initial store team, eventually expanding into a multi-unit retail organization.
· Design and implement performance-based incentive programs aligned with service quality and sales.
· Train staff in customer service, product knowledge, and operational efficiency.
4. Financial & Performance Oversight
· Own the P&L of the retail segment; optimise for unit economics, cost control, and EBITDA contribution.
· Track daily and weekly store KPIs via dashboards and take corrective actions quickly.
· Conduct monthly performance reviews with detailed reporting to the CEO.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
· Work closely with Production, Commercial, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless stock availability and replenishment.
· Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop localized campaigns that drive store performance.
· Align with Finance on budgeting, compliance, and return on investment tracking.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, ideally with multi-store leadership or regional management roles.
· Proven experience launching and scaling new stores or retail concepts.
· Strong preference for candidates with food retail, FMCG, or franchise retail background.
· Familiarity with POS systems, workforce scheduling, and retail data analytics.
