Work Location: Baku
Key accountabilities:
- Responsible for development of Work Breakdown Structures and code of accounts with other disciplines to set baseline data management related to the project management
- Responsible for the development of the project baseline schedules (including schedule basis and assumptions) and regular schedule updates
- Responsible for the development of the project progress measurement procedures and their regular updates
- Responsible for the development of the project reporting system and ensuring reports maintenance and issuance including critical path analysis according to project coordination procedures
- Ensures the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling.
- Coordinates with procurement and material mangers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential. items of supply.
- Provides priorities for projects to guarantee completion.
- Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis.
- Provide update on productivity and progress to the relevant stakeholders
- Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support within project controls.
- Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks.
- Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
- May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of project controls to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.
Requirements:
- Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 11+ years of experience.
- Advanced English and Azerbaijani
- Strong major capital projects experience with strong track record of delivery
- Experience in major projects planning and scheduling processes
- Advance communication and presentation skills
- Ability and proven skill to engage and work with multifunctional and multilocation team to ensure high levels of cooperation
- Some experience in cost management. Understanding of the relationship between cost management and planning and scheduling management.
- Ability to produce good quality written reports and summary presentations.
- Strong communications skills and the ability to present complex ideas in simple ways to senior management and customers alike.
- Competent with computers and IT tools minimum as follows:
- MS Office (Outlook, word, excel, power point)
- Primavera P6
- MS Project
- PowerBI
- SharePoint
- MS Visio
- Ability to work around cost tools (SAP or similar).
