- Job holder ensures to carry out repair, maintenance and calibration works of process analyzers. Process analyzers are a sub-branch of the instrument field and are used in refinery areas to measure product quality, monitor emissions, or increase production efficiency. The job holder must ensure the reliable operation of the process analyzers through his/her work.
- Responsibilities: To comply with HSE (Health, Labor Safety and Environmental Protection) standards, legal requirements, operating rules, institution procedures;
- Job Holder is custodian for various process analyzers at site and responsible for analyzer is fit-for-purpose;
- Monitors and verifies condition of assigned process analyzer, performs necessary calibration and performance verification of analytical methods to ensure reliability of site analysis, as specified on Work Instructions, Procedures, or maintenance plan;
- To ensure that technical review works on control process analyzers are carried out in accordance with established procedures and specifications;
- Maintain and replace all sample conditioning elements like valve-regulators-tubing-filters-flowmeter etc.;
- Performs investigation of Out of Specification results and implements corrective and preventive measures under supervision;
- Is responsible for adequate use of tools, glassware, samples, calibration solutions;
- To perform loop checks of process analyzers, checking communication connections with a multimeter and checking low/high current power supplies;
- Perform routine monitoring of sample handling systems and gas cylinder replacements, and gas cylinder connections;
- Maintain and check spare part list for analyzers;
- Ensure identification and acquisition of required spare parts from on-site warehouse inventory;
- Implement preventative maintenance and diagnostic procedures based on vendor technical information and manufacturer’s specifications;
- Track and update assigned tasks as per maintenance schedule on a regular basis;
- Report to Supervisor.
Xüsusi tələblər
- Vocational education in Electrical, Instrument or Mechanical field;
- Minimum 1 year experience as an instrumentation technician (Commissioning or maintenance);
- Experience in the process analyzer field is a plus;
- Good working knowledge of Chemicals, gases, and risks;
- Ability to read instrument documents such as schematics, specifications, P&IDs and one-line diagrams;
- Ability to diagnose the cause of malfunction, or failure, of analyzers and perform the necessary preventable maintenance or corrective maintenance.
