- Assist in Tax Compliance: Work closely with the tax team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other related filings.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to support tax planning and compliance efforts. Analyse tax implications of various business transactions
- Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed documentation of tax-related activities, supporting schedules, and workpapers.
- Data Entry and Analysis: Assist in the collection, entry, and analysis of financial data to support tax calculations and reporting.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accurate reporting of financial and tax-related data.
Xüsusi tələblər
- A graduate degree with major in Economics or Finance & Accounting.
- Strong command of spoken and written Azerbaijani and English. Knowledge of Russian and/or Turkish will be an advantage.
- Basic Knowledge of Taxation and Accounting: Understanding of basic tax and accounting principles and willingness to learn and apply tax concepts.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Strong analytical and good problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to undertake new and challenging tasks.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- Being motivated and demonstrating initiative.
- Any relevant experience and background would be a plus
