Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trade Finance Specialist. This role is pivotal in managing our trade finance operations, including the development and maintenance of relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structure, negotiate, and oversee trade finance instruments like letters of credit, bank guarantees, trade loans, etc.
• Collaborate with trading desks to understand financing needs and devise suitable financial solutions.
• Monitor global commodity markets and assess their impact on trade finance.
• Establish and manage strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Handle the opening, maintenance, and management of bank accounts, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Regularly review and optimize banking operations and services to support business needs effectively.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with financial institutions for trade financing and other banking services.
• Ensure adherence to international trade finance regulations and standards.
• Align trade finance strategies with the company’s broader goals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all trade finance transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of various trade finance instruments and their applications.
• Demonstrated experience in managing banking relationships and account operations.
• Strong risk management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
