Position: Junior Auditor
Direct reports: Internal Auditor
Job Role Responsibilities:
Conduct risk assessment of assigned department or functional area in established/required timeline
Perform the execution of audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures
Conduct interviews, review documents, develop and administer questionnaires, compose summary memos, and prepare detailed working papers
Determine scope of review in conjunction with Internal Auditor
Conduct audit testing of specified area and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk
Perform periodical inventory count procedures within inventory auditing process
Perform compliance with policies and procedures.
Draft comprehensive and complete report of audit area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualification Knowledge
Candidates should have at least Bachelor’s degree in audit, accounting or related subjects
6+ months of experience with accounting and external or internal auditing
Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft office applications, Visio, PowerPoint)
Intermediate level in applying accounting principles, auditing standards, procedures, and techniques.
Basic understanding of internal auditing standards, risk assessment practices
Intermediate level understanding of fraud and business ethics.
Flexibility and ability to work overtime if needed
