Junior Lawyer
Role synopsis
Azerinteltek CJSC is now looking for the Junior Lawyer for further development of the activities of the Company. Interested candidates, meeting the below selection criteria, are requested to send their resume to [email protected] by indicating “Junior Lawyer” in the subject of the letter.

Position Purpose
Responsible for elaboration of regulations and observance of legal procedures, ensuring that the activities of the company comply with law. Will support initiating, developing and implementing of all phases of regulatory strategy, struggle with illegal betting, support investments by defining possible regulatory risks, preparing and negotiating over contract, initiate lawsuits on behalf of the company and following the pending lawsuits against the company to secure the rights of the company and shareholders.
Key accountabilities
To give necessary legal advice when needed
To prepare drafts, negotiate contracts in all business areas including finance, operational, purchasing and any other professional services in line with Azerinteltek procedures and submit to manager’s approval
To ensure that activities, agreements and responds given to legal authorities comply with law and requirements arising from the signed agreements and the related legislation, to build and manage relationships with third party service providers (external law firms, governmental authorities and etc.)
To take meeting minutes at Board of Directors Meeting and prepare Board Resolutions and submit to the manager’s approval,
To prepare necessary documentation for general shareholders’ meeting and submit to the related governmental authorities,
To support following up of the lawsuits and investigations directly or indirectly related with Azerinteltek and attend to the lawsuit, and realize the execution proceedings on behalf of the company against the debtor,
To prepare notifications against the contract parties of the company in case of any request from the related department ,
To support in taking legal actions against illegal betting,
To support researching current and potential legal risks for investments and prepare contracts,
To prepare necessary reports to the shareholders about major lawsuits and their results and other requested data,
To inform any amendments of the legislations related to the business of the company and take part in the drafting of such legislation.
Essential criteria
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field of study (Law). Higher education is plus for election.
Minimum of 2 years Lawyer experience in a corporate environment.
Well knowledge of Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages.
Desirable criteria
Excellent communications and relationship building skills
Strong problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to self-management as person
Advanced user in MS Office suite
