6. Design Coordinator
Key accountabilities:
• Coordinates, and has direct responsibility for, a project or specific set of tasks related to the overall project(s) requirement(s).
• Review and comment on all incoming Design documentation. Issue comments to all appropriate parties to action.
• Organizes and implements procedures performing necessary support duties.
• Organizes/schedules all meetings related to Design matters.
• Responsible for recording/preparing/issuing the minutes of all Design meetings.
• Serves as principal source of information on established project/program policies and advises staff.
• Draft, edit and prepare correspondence, reports and other material using word processing, spreadsheets etc.
• Prepares and maintains records and reviews complex documents, reports, etc., to assure compliance the Company requirements and/or government regulations, and notifies supervisor of unusual situations.
• Provides for smooth day-to-day flow of communications within the team.
• Monitor and reconcile budget(s). Makes recommendations on construction matters/materials related to the defined budget.
• Assist in interviewing, training, scheduling and distributing work to other staff members.
• Contributes to management goals by accomplishing related duties as required.
Required skills/experience:
• University Architectural Degree preferred or an equivalent Engineering qualification, plus relevant experience in working within the Construction Industry.
• Professional and organized with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience of working as a Design Coordinator in the Construction Industry.
• Experience within a coordination role for a reputable construction company.
• Proven experience of coordinating the design on various projects.
• A strong knowledge and understanding of the design process, at commercial design stage within a Construction Management environment.
• Demonstrate a good all-round technical knowledge and understanding of International Building Regulations.
• Strong delivery experience in working with a Construction Management Team.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage Consultant’s scope and budgets.
• Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests.

7. IT Support Service Specialist
Key accountabilities:
• Escalating IT issues to the IT manager where necessary
• Responsible for managing backups and tape rotation
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
• Undertaking small- to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT manager
• Providing desktop and server support
• Supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange/SQL/Linux
• Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
• Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date
• Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops
• Fault finding to laptops and desktops
• Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops
• Completing internal user moves including phones
• Patching of network and phones
• Making of Cat 5 e network cables were necessary
• Ensuring all logs for equipment and users are maintained
• Setting up and configuring new core servers
• Installing authorized software to core servers
• Ensuring patches and upgrades are applied to core servers

• Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software

Required skills/experience:

Key accountabilities:
• Coordinates the full cycle of procurement process and distribution of materials/services ensuring timely delivery and effective cost management.
• Performs price, lead time and other important negotiations with suppliers.
• Analyzes the requirements of the commodity, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed.
• Issues RFQ’s and purchase orders/contracts that comply with company and government regulations;
• Ensures delivery, price, and quality meet expectations.
• Reviews quality problems with engineering personnel and directs action required to correct defects.
• Investigates potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements – implements Supplier Pre-qualification procedures
• Conducts periodic and special surveys of supplier’s facilities and manufacturing processes to determine adequacy and capability of quality control and ability to comply with engineering and quality specifications.
• Prepares reports to the Procurement Manager, when required, regarding contractor/vendor/supplier capability and/or performance.
• May travel occasionally, primarily in the local area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
