Payroll Assistant — PASHA Bank OJSC

“PASHA Bank” OJSC is seeking a Payroll Assistant for its HR Department.

Scope of position / Strategic Responsibility

•  • Responsible to provide administrative support to Payroll Manager ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll related matters.

Functional Responsibilities

• Processing employment contracts for new hired and terminated employees; entering employee information into the payroll system and state portal
• Recording employee information: promotions, salary adjustments, transfers, terminations to maintain and update payroll system and state portal
• Keeping track of leaves: vacation, sick and maternity leave, personal leave
• Preparation HR related orders: hiring, vacation, warnings, termination
• Assisting in preparation annual statistic and statutory reports for Social Protection Fund
• Preparation employment certificates for submission to different local authorities
• Intranet updates on employees’ movements
• Keeping records of labor books
• Filling and keeping employees’ personal folders in order
• Assisting Payroll Manager in special projects related to payroll processes improvement
• Ad hoc Payroll related matters
• Ensuring payroll-related documentation

EXPERIENCE

• Experienced with minimum a year experience in Human Resources or Accounting;

KNOWLEDGE:

Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Language — Fluency in English, Russian and Azerbaijani
Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices and reporting of financial data.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree (Economics, Finance).

SKILLS:

Experience with Microsoft Office required.
Proficiency in Excel required.
