Job Title: Pipeline Engineer
Project: South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion
Work location: Camps in Kurdamir, Goranboy and Aghstafa regions
Reports to: Project Engineering Coordinator
Responsibilities:
• Resolve pipelines technical problems for operating facilities;
• Review design packages and provide technical support to new projects;
• Perform pipe stress analysis;
• Perform Hot-Tap calculations;
• Perform road crossing calculations;
• Evaluate instrument scrapping results;
• Perform Piping Fitness-For-Service (FFS) evaluations and recommend suitable repair;
• Assist with the selection of laying spread/methods and perform/review installation design analysis for the pipeline system;
• Perform integrity assessment for pipelines Perform following pipelines design activities;
• pipeline on-bottom stability analysis and bottom roughness analysis;
• riser tie-in and expansion spool stress analysis;
• pipeline crossing analysis and design of crossing supports;
• external corrosion protection design;
• pipeline route selection; trenching/backfilling design
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineerig;
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of pipeline design; construction and operation;
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD, Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project;
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar;
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani language;
• Ability to travel inside and outside the country;
• Project management and supervision skills;
