Procurement and Logistics Manager
Key responsibilities:
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Devise and employ fruitful sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and transportation
• strategies.
• Discover the most profitable suppliers and logistics, warehouse, and transportation
• providers, and initiate business partnerships.
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
• Finalize details of orders and deliveries.
• Examine and re-evaluate existing contracts.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
• Anticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
• Perform risk management regarding supply and logistics contracts and agreements.
• Control, spend, and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Eligibility:
• Educational qualification, preferably in law, business administration, quantity surveying or related field.
• A minimum of 5 as a Procurement and Logistics Manager mainly in an oil and gas environment.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
• Knowing Hydraulic Equipments.
• Ability to work 1C software program.
• Should have excellent English & Azeri writing, reading & speaking skills.
• Should be computer proficient especially in MS Office.
Salary is negotiable, depending on the skills and experience of candidate.
