About the Job:

Qatar Airways are recruiting for an organized administrator to join our Commercial team in Baku, Azerbaijan.
You will provide full administration support to the Commercial Manager and team. You will perform all administrative activities ensuring requests are dealt with in a timely manner to ensure a smooth running of the busy office.

Role Accountabilities:

• Providing administration and secretarial support for the smooth functioning on a daily basis for the outstation departments ie: commercial and ground service.
• Co-ordinating contracts for the Commercial organization to ensure the most cost effective and efficient management of the operation.
• Handling confidential and sensitive issues involving inter-departmental relations and communication between regional and head office.
• Admin task relating to processing paperwork, preparing and coordinating HR documentation required for head office (annual leave/sickness absence/business cases/ hotel bookings); Co-coordinating training requests and travel arrangements when required.
• Coordinating internal and external communication as requested by management, promoting high standards of corporate values throughout.
• Managing the invoice and purchase order process, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Preparing charts and compiling reports as needed, ensuring that all business files are complete and properly maintained.
• Ensuring compliance at all stations to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to guarantee employee safety, security and legislative compliance.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you must have a relevant Vocational, diploma or Trade Qualification.

You will have at least three years administrative experience in office environment as well as the following:

• Strong administrative/business administration skills
• Previous experience of working with databases
• Excellent attention to detail and superb communication skills
• Resilient, able to work on own initiative
• Previous experience of working in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Word, Powepoint, Excel.

About your job:

We are looking for an experienced customer focused individual with previous airline supervisory experience to join our station in Baku as an Airport Services Supervisor. Reporting through to the Airport Services Duty Officer you will supervise your team to deliver exceptional customer service to our customers to ensure they receive the award winning 5 star service Qatar Airways is renowned for.
You will be required to support the Airport Services Manager when needed as well as displaying excellent skills to deal with flight delays, disruptions, denied boarding and any other challenges.

Key accountabilities:

• Facilitate ramp handling in liaison with all airport staff to expedite departures
• Supervise the airport team to ensure on-time flight closure and working towards overall on-time performance
• Plan efficient duty allocations of manpower during duty periods for Customer Service Agents and provide support to the Airport Services Manager in case of flight disruptions, misconnections and other passenger related disruptions

About You:

• A recognised IATA airline certificate
• Overall knowledge of airport  functions in terms of passenger handling and passenger operations with supervisory experience preferred

• Good understanding of conditions of carriage, International Civil Aviation Safety and Security procedures

• Evaluate new and existing route developments within the region

• Establish appropriate fare strategy and ensure on time pricing and distribution on the market

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor’s degree or similar combined with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar analytical role.
You will have strong analytical and data skills, but to be successful in this role your interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly will be essential. Prior experience with a GDS system and market intelligence tools would be advantageous.

We are recruiting for a Sales Executive to be based in Baku to report directly to the Commercial Manager in Azerbaijan.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the revenue budget of a portfolio of accounts. You will be responsible for developing a successful, consistent approach to local and multi-national dealing which drives maximum revenue and minimum cost of sale.
You will be involved in negotiating Commercial Agreements and in joint sales and marketing activities to grow the quality of Qatar Airways revenue sold through these partners.

Your will contribute to the formulation and implementation of the sales strategy, review of Qatar Airways sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek tactical opportunities. You will provide regular market intelligence and coordinates feedback from the customers and competitors within commercial team. You will propose pricing tactical initiatives to Corporate and Trade partners in order to support sales and marketing opportunities.

You will plan and strategize selling activities and continuously review own sales performance to meet or exceed targets.

About You:

To be con role, you must hold a Trade or vocational qualification with a minimum of  three years job-related experience. Sales experience is essential with good knowledge of local market, proven trade and corporate segment familiarization.
You will have proven knowledge of GDS systems, ticketing and sales. You must be able to thrive in a highly pressurised and target driven environment.
You must be committed, articulate and has high level of customer service at all times. Excellent people and communication skills are important for this role. You must be confident, organised and has the ability to coordinate actions and activities, prioritize tasks, with good attention to details.
