Position Title: Site Engineer
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Reports To: Construction Manager
Objective:
• Main objective of site engineer position is to provide technical advice about, plan, organize and supervise construction projects, manage part of a construction project; also assist with technical advice and supervise other members of staff;
Responsibilities:
• As a main technical adviser on a construction site to set out, survey and level the building site;
• Reporting to Construction Manager and Project Manager
• Liaising and working jointly with the design team (consulting engineers) to implement refinements;
• Negotiating modifications with architects
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
• Liaising with any client’s consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Preparing reports as required;
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise;
Requirements:
• Higher Education
• At Least 3 Years’ Experience in Civil Works
• Intermediate Level in English and Fluency in Azerbaijani
• Intermediate command of MS Office, Auto Cad
• Capability of working in diverse situations
