PASHA Bank” OJSC is seeking a SME Trade Finance Specialist.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for trade finance products such as guarantees, letters of credit, documentary collections, post import finance, etc., development of strategic trade finance functions, defining all product features, conditions and related business processes, providing opinion / application analysis and extending support to Analysts to structure the deals. Sales support to RMs. Responsible for structuring, execution and administration of Trade Finance deals.
MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing product features and conditions, ongoing updating in order to have relevant propositions to customers
• Providing expertise of applications assisting to Analysts in origination & structuring. Understanding of customer needs and suggesting best solution/structure.
• Defining and managing product and related processes functional card
• Designing relevant decision making approaches for TF taking into account exposure volumes and other key drivers
• Handling of customer inquiries related to bank guarantees, letters of credit, documentary collections and post – import finance.
• Responsible for daily operation work – related to decision-making and administration of current deals.
• Communication with correspondent banks, ECAs
• Interacting with RMs assisting with sales of TF products
• Risk management of TF deals
• Coaching Relationship Managers for analyzing SME Scoring model based cases. Control and assess RM`s initial analysis in SME scoring model based cases.
• Responsible for PR & Promotion of product. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and sector trends.
• Development of subject matter knowledge
SKILLS:
• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or relevant field.
• High level of analytical skills
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in business banking products and business financial analysis (business financials, international operational transactions knowledge and handling).
• Experience in Trade Finance products will be significant advantage
• Basic legal scope (examination of contracts, including international deals)
• Fluency in Azerbaijani is a must.
• Good in English and Russian.
