VAKANSİYA 1.  Front Office Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Dealing with bookings by phone, e-mail, letter, fax or face-to-face
– Completing procedures when guests arrive and leave
– Preparing bills and taking payments
– Dealing with special requests from guests
– Ensures that the area is managed well by the team
– Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily
– Ensures that guest history records are accurately maintained and all repeat guests are pre-registered
– Ensures that hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to money handling are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of information

Essential Skills required:

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Azeri, Russian and English
• Strong customer service skills
• A friendly and professional telephone manner
• Ability to adapt to different guests
• Patience and tact
• Ability to handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
• Ability to resolve problems satisfactorily
• Ability to work under pressure

Advantageous Skills:

– Knowledge of Opera PMS, Fidelio, Iscala
– Previous experience as team leader or supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a supervisor, to assist Executive Housekeeper in managing all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry and dry-cleaning operation (hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry), will participate in developing and implementing Company policies, practices and procedures.

– To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
– To assist Executive Housekeeper to direct and manage all activity related to the Housekeeping department, ensuring all service standards are followed
– To be responsible for all housekeeping colleagues’ achievement of individual goals
– To ensure that the use new technology and equipment is explored and implemented wherever appropriate
– To ensure that all Housekeeping associates deliver the 5 star hotel promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times
– To manage all purchase requests and invoices for Housekeeping related expenses
– To assist to manage inventory-taking of supplies and operating equipment
– To follow departmental policies and procedures
– To follow all safety  policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Previous hotel experience at applied position (minimum 3 year experience) within 5 star hotels
– Fluency in English (verbal & written), Azerbaijani is mandatory, Russian an asset
– Computer literate in Microsoft, Opera and Iscala
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
– Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
– Highly responsible & reliable
– Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
