Trader for Treasury department – Pasha Bank

Scope of position

Responsible for managing Bank’s currency position and short-term liquidity executing FX & MM & FI deals through proper profit/loss cost analysis within predetermined trading limit.

MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Trading: Execute and negotiate foreign exchange/precious metals transactions (spots, forwards, swaps and related derivatives)
Trading: Execute and negotiate money market transactions (deposit/loans/overnights).
Trading: Execute and negotiate fixed income transactions (securities).
Dealing with all customer requests (internal or external) accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Determine and prepare currency rates on a daily basis.
Prepare ad hoc reports requested by Senior trader and Head of Treasury.
Investigating local and global FX & Money market opportunities in order to execute the most favorable transactions.
Check Nostro accounts and execute account sweeping if necessary.
Control the accuracy of deals/reports prepared by the entry level traders.
Determine/offer preferential rates for corporate customers & maintain relationship with them.
Trading: Execute and negotiate banknotes trading with local and foreign FIs

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree
• International education
• Certificates: CFA, ACCA

SKILLS

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani, English, Russian
• Team player, excellent communication skills, good time management
• Organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously with attention to processes
