VACANCY 1: Director of Finance and Business Support

As an active member of the Executive Committee, the Director of Finance and Business Support oversees all financial and accounting related activities including budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management and capital expenditures, and ensures company procedures and policies are being implemented and maintained throughout hotel operations.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Maintain a strong Internal Control environment in the hotels and ensure compliance to FRHI key controls, policies and procedures
• Manage the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process, being the key driver to ensure schedules are met and full participation of the hotel executive team and management team
• Provide accurate and complete financial and management reports
• Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of the financial data and communicating this in a comprehensible form, of meaningful variations in the operations
• Develop an engaged, enthusiastic and guest driven team through recruitment, personal and professional development and reward, enabling all employees to deliver exceptional service to both our internal and external guest
• Assist other department heads in the development and implementation of “corrective action plans” on internal and or external audit and operational reports
• Assist in the development and implementation of benchmarking techniques that will enable the hotel to enhance revenues while improving productivity and cost efficiencies
• Manage the hotel accounting department, information and internal control systems and hotel finances in accordance with all policy and procedures. This position is accountable for the development, documentation, and support of Financial Polices and Operational Procedures to include performance monitoring as it relates to the hotels
• Protect the owners and the management company’s interest in the hotel assets and operations
• Participates in the development, maintenance and adherence to a single chart of accounts, payroll and expense dictionary, and the function of accounts in order that the hotels financial and statistical data is accurately and consistently recorded and reported
• Has a fiduciary responsibility to the Company and/or Owners for ensuring the hotels are reporting in compliance with the policies, the Uniform Chart Of Accounts and hotel management or other contractual arrangements with respect to accounting matters
• Analysis of the balance sheet accounts, on a selected basis and the preparation of the monthly internal benchmarking and operational performance analysis reports
• Ensure compliance with all laws and fiscal regulations of the location, which effect financial matters of the hotel, including proper permits and licenses are obtained
• Responsible for all lease and contracts and any other legal records and documents, which may affect the financial status of the hotel
• Ensure that hotel accounting department is operating efficiently
• Recommend and assist in the design, implementation, and use of methods and procedures that improve the accuracy of working schedules, labor standards, forecast and plans to assist operational staff. Monitor on an ongoing basis the accuracy and recommend correct measurements as necessary
• Develop, implement and monitor credit and collection procedures and guidelines
• Build close and effective working relationships with all operational departments
• Other  assigned duties

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Director of Finance, preferably  in a luxury international hotel chains
• Strong knowledge in all facets of hotel operations, Accounting and systems plus extensive Accounting experience is required
• Experience in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia or CIS Country an asset
• Professional designation or degree with appropriate specialization in Accounting
• Superior level of skill in computer technology and hotel applications of Opera, Micros, Hyperion, Excel and Word
• Excellent administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and changes with flexibility, timeliness and efficiency
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skill
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Decisive, enthusiastic, creative thinker who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions
• Proven leadership skills which supports an environment of employee growth and development, interdepartmental teamwork and exceptional customer service
• Ability to clearly convey information and ideas, including complex or technical issues


VACANCY 2:Director Of Sales

The Director, Sales will actively participate as an expert and will be heavily involved during the pre-opening of the Hotel by developing and implementing programs in accordance with established Company policies, practices and procedures, as well as ensuring a strong focus on becoming a local and international destination of choice.

Reporting to the Director, Sales & Marketing, Director of Sales responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• To direct and manage all activity related to the Sales department, ensuring all service standards are followed
• To be responsible for all sales colleagues’ achievement of individual goals
• To direct all Sales initiatives for the hotel
• To provide guidance and direction in the development of segment action plans
• To be responsible for account management of key market segments
• To ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• To review Sales contracts, considering the number of rooms, average rate and total revenue objectives of the hotel
• To participate in select sales activities both on and off property
• To set individual room revenue and/or room night goals
• To manage any Sales incentive programs
• To ensure the integrity of key accounts, the key prospect data base and monitoring of the Sales software programs for accuracy and thoroughness
• To prepare an annual budget for approval and administer that budget in a fiscally responsible manner
• To balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
• To follow departmental policies and procedures
• To follow all safety policies and ensure department compliance
• Ensure that all sales team members are trained and that training is continuously supported and reinforced by offering sales course training
• Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent sitting throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
• Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, walking and standing
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous senior leadership experience within Sales required
• Experience in a luxury chain hotel an asset
• Fluency in English, Azerbaijani and Russian (verbal & written).
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications andor relevant computer applications required
• University/College degree in a related discipline required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Flexible in travelling
• Visa Requirements:  Must hold a valid work/residence permit from Azerbaijan.
