VACANCY 1: Chief Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation of all tax and statutory reports;
• Develop and implement various accounting procedures;
• Preparation of the monthly statutory accounts and consolidated financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS;
• Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits;
• Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets;
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions;
• Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
• Assist with annual budgets – prepares all allocations;
• Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures;
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports;
• Prepares work papers and supporting schedules for the annual financial review;
• Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.
• Assures compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws;
• Reviews accounts payables and weekly check runs;
• Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits;
• Distributes monthly comparison reports and cost center reports according to schedules;
• Applies cost accounting methods to achieve accurate representation of cost center performance;
• Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position;
• Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved;
• Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets system;
• Adheres to internal and external deadlines;
• Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities;
• Responsible for knowing critical functions within the department and capable of mentoring and assisting employees within the department;
• Other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Higher education in Accounting or Finance
• Work Experience: at least 8-10 years in accounting and/or audit
• Strong knowledge of local tax and legal legislation
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to work under pressure and in flexible working hours
• Adaptation to change
• Fluent in spoken and written Azerbaijani and preferably English and with an excellent command of written and spoken Russian
• Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.)

VACANCY 2: Logistics Manager

Gilan Holding is looking to recruit skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our highly professional team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, marketing and retailers to adjust and/or correct orders as needed;
• Control over logistics and shipment of goods;
• Orders processed expediently and accurately including but not limited to:
o Resolution and re-determination of price variances
o Correct incompletes in order file
o Daily review of order blocks
o Analyze fill-rate of orders
• Build strong relationship with key partners and suppliers;
• Accurately maintaining database;
• To ensure proper pricing in database;
• Make sure, that all requests are processed in accordance with order management policies and procedures;
• Accurately processing invoice adjustments as required;
• Other duties as requested by the management.

Requirements

• Higher education;
• Work Experience: at least 2-3 years in retail sphere;
• Strong communication, analytical skills;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Ability to work under pressure and in flexible working hours;
• Adaptation to change;
• Fluent in spoken and written Azerbaijani, English and Russian;
• Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.).
