Position: Head of HSE Department
Main responsibilities
• To develop HSE strategy in support of Corporate HSE and Security strategic goals.
• To develop effective HSE plans designed to meet operational goals to reduce injuries, accidents and incidents.
• To effectively communicate HSE strategy and objectives with Senior Leadership.
• To support site management in the implementation of HSE plans.
• To design and implement effective metrics to track progress, proactively identify areas of concern and drive accountability.
• To develop and implement training programs to transfer HSE knowledge and core competencies to management and associates.
• To develop and implement audits to track and identify gaps
• To lead incident investigation process, including cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this position
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree and Certifications with equivalent experience
• International certifications in HSE field are preferred (NEBOSH or other equivalent ones)
Experience
• 5-7 years hands-on safety experience in a large or international company
• HSE experience in telecommunication field is a big plus
Computer skills
• MS Office Programs
Languages
• Fluent knowledge of English and Azerbaijani languages.
• Intermediate knowledge of Russian.

• Excellent employee relations and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, supervision and employees
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
