Position: Business Finance Analyst

• Identify problems within a business, including through using data modelling techniques;
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions;
• Conduct Business analysis and evaluate results;
• Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments/branches;
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking;
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support;
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews;
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements;
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting;
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts;
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies;
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements;
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements;
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.

Business Analyst Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or an MBA;
• High proficiency in financial modeling techniques;
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions;
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field;
• Fluency in Azerbaijan and English;
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills;
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations;
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
