We are happy to announce job opportunity of a “CHIEF ACCOUNTANT” at Moore Azerbaijan.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in accounting
• Knowledge: Azerbaijan statutory accounting and reporting
• Certificates: PMS, ACCA or CIMA papers is advantage
• Languages: Azeri – native or fluent, English and/or Russian – fluent
• Applications: Proficiency in 1C and MS Excel

Key Roles:

• Implementation all accounting processes accurately in compliance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan
• Preparation of financial statements (Balance sheet, Profit and Loss statement, Cash flow statement);
• Accurate recording of transactions in accounts (software) and registers, monitoring of these records, provision of timely information, and preparation and submission of accounting (financial) reports within the designated deadlines.
• Tracking and recording the movement of goods, monitoring cash balances and VAT deposit account balances, and conducting necessary communications to maintain accurate operational accounting in the accounting software.
• Overseeing the calculation and processing of salaries, travel expenses, unused vacation days, maternity and sick leave, and ensuring these are accurately recorded in the appropriate accounts.
• Preparation and submission of VAT, property tax, withholding tax, income tax, single declarations, and statistical reports to the appropriate authorities.
• To ensure the secure storage of accounting records and other documents required for tax calculation and payment, as well as documentation supporting purchases, sales, and tax payments (deductions).
• Implementation of all tasks given by the management in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage the company’s accounting department staff, organizing and overseeing the work of subordinate employees.
• Assess the company’s tax risks and provide timely reports on these risks to management.
• Submit daily reports to the Finance Director.
