PRODUCT MANAGER (Incoming Product)

The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and development. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with sales and finance, to deliver winning products.

Job descriptions

• Define the inbound product strategy and roadmap, align it with Sales and Finance.
• Deliver market and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification as well as its expected results on company and departmental commercial KPIs;
• Work with buyer to communicate detailed purchase requirements and assess partnerships
• Set competitive pricing to meet revenue and profitability targets
• Be an expert with respect to the competition and maintain up-to-date market and competition reports
• Together with product marketing manager, develop the core positioning, messaging and placement for the product & marketing plans;
• Deliver monthly sales, revenue, cost and profit forecasts;
• Recommend and implement sales tools and collateral for particular products, campaigns and promotions;
• Develop and defend an overall and product specific budget to monitor and identify success
• Identify commercial risks and plan mitigation;
• Involve sales in product planning at the concept development stage; brief and train inbound sales and operations about the product, pitch line, customer value, targeted audience, commercial expectations, risks and “don’ts”;
• Act as a leader within the company

Requirements

Required Background, Skills and Knowledge:

• Education & certifications Marketing/ Business Administration/ Economics/ Management/or related field;
• Experience in marketing, project and product management;
• Knowledge/experience in tourism is preferred, but not essential.
• Intellectual curiosity in the newest technological trends, marketing trends and digital marketing;
• Ability to manage a few stakeholders within complex projects;
• Proficiency with metrics and analytics;
• Programs and software: MS Office Programs; SalesForce knowledge is a benefit
• Language skills: Azerbaijani/Russian-Fluent, English-Academic Level/Fluent.
