Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of risk management, control, and management processes within the audit project.

Key Accountabilities:

• Participate in the implementation of audit projects and special audit projects in accordance with the approved annual audit plan.
• Contribute to the development of audit project work programs.
• Conduct audits of supply-chain processes, particularly procurement activities within construction projects, to ensure compliance with internal regulations, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, control, and management processes within the audit project.
• Prepare reports on audit projects in a correct, high-quality, and effective style.
• Take part in business travel to multiple locations in order to conduct on-site audits and inspections.
• Perform specific audit procedures as part of the audit project (e.g., conducting interviews with business process owners, collecting information, analyzing the information received) and regularly report any identified deficiencies to the project manager.
• Analyze financial data and performance indicators to assess the financial health and efficiency of supply-chain processes.
• Assess financial records, contracts, invoices and other documents related to supply-chain activities to identify potential discrepancies or irregularities.
• Monitor the implementation of measures developed by the company’s management to address identified deficiencies and shortcomings.
• Monitor the work of subordinate employees within the audit project.
• Participate in the evaluation of the performance of the employees under their supervision within the audit project.

Required background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics (finance, accounting, auditing, etc.).
• More than 3 years of experience in the relevant field of audit.
• Professional qualifications such as CIA/CISA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/CFA (L1) will be given preference.

Required skills:

• Proficiency in conducting audit procedures in accordance with international auditing standards. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify potential risks or irregularities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Windows products and specialized audit software.
• Strong presentation and report writing skills to deliver comprehensive audit reports.
• Flexibility and willingness to participate in business trips as required
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English at the business level.
