Job Purpose:

Senior Learning and Development Specialist is responsible to support designing, implementing, and evaluating employee training and development programs to support the organization’s goals and objectives. Senior Learning and Development Specialist is accountable for identifying training needs, developing customized training solutions, and ensuring that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with department heads to identify learning needs and develop targeted development programs that align with business objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end training process, from needs assessment and design to program delivery and evaluation.
• Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, ensuring smooth logistics and participants engagement.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making continuous improvements as necessary.
• Partner with external vendors to source and deliver specialized training content when needed.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in learning and development to enhance program offerings.
• Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Execute any other tasks or projects assigned by the manager related to your respective department.
• Follow company procedures and disciplinary rules while maintaining ethical standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety and Environment regulations contributing to a safe and healthy workplace for all team members

Education and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Phsycology or a related field is required.
• 3-5 years of work experience in the related position.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills are important.
