Working conditions:

The strategic purpose of the position:

The Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Finance Controlling Specialist reports to the Head of Controlling Unit and acts as an owner of Financial planning and analysis whithin COGS, Production, Procurement and Logistics, actively pursuing the delivery of ISC efficiencies/ambitions by ensuring accurate reporting and detailed analysis that drive well informed decisions and robust planning & analysis. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the Month End Closing process, along with Finance Planing activities, is pivotal. The role also assumes extencive business partnering capabilities, facilitating effective interaction and collaboration with different stakeholders within the organization to foster efficiency, consistency, and transparency.

Your responsibility / What You’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing financial data, producing financial reports/statements within Production/Logistic/Procurement
  • Ensure high quality and timely completion of Month End Closing process, preparation of latest estimates and budgeting activities within ISC Finance
  • Support simplification, structuring and transparency of reporting, improve efficiencies in ISC finance processes
  • Execute the annual budgeting process and preparation of latest estimates within COGS, Production, Procurement and Logistics
  • Ensure the accuracy and transparency of product cost planning and analysis by incorporating Commercial, Procurement, Operational and Planning inputs
  • Pursue, verification and follow-up of ISC savings and cost efficiency initiatives within Production, Procurement and Logistics
  • Intensive collaboration with Group/Regional Finance Controlling Team during different stages of Planning, analysing and reporting
  • Provide necessary support for Group and local initiatives, including data gathering and analysis, ad-hoc reporting, development and validation scenarios and other finance tasks as may be required for quality decision-making.
  • Provide accurate analysis on variances between different scenarios (e.g. Actual vs Latest Estimate/Last year)
  • Being part of the Finance Controlling team constantly collaborating across different functions, teams
  • Preparation of ISC part analysis for the Company Monthly Performance Review presentation for the Group (e.g., preparation of analytical information/comments to explain the causes of deviations, etc.)
  • Responsible for high quality and timely completion of Month End Closing process
  • Responsible for high quality and timely completion of Budgeting, Latest Estimiate and Strategic plannig activities within COGS, Production, Procurement and Logistics

To qualify the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other relevant field
  • 2 plus years of relevant work experience
  • Good skills in utilizing Excel. We expect you are using lookups sumifs, pivot-tables, etc.
  • Power-query and Power BI competences will be a strong advantage
  • You are familiar with IFRS. Certificates from ACCA/CIMA or any similar will be an additional asset
  • We expect you are open to continuous learning and improvement

  • You are confident in what you do and able to explain your position to others
  • You worked with large number of figures and information, and can easily manage them
  • You have experience in working with 2-3 different tasks and can stay focused on all of them

  • You believe in teamwork and are open to assisting your teammates if needed
  • You understand expectations from you and do your best in fulfilling your tasks
  • You strongly cope with deadlines
  • You speak Azeri & Russian fluently, as both the languages is used in day-to-day work (verbal and written)
  • Your English level is good enough to write emails, understand people and communicate your opinion
