Housekeeping Supervisor

The energy and enthusiasm you display will create a “fun” place to work while ensuring the highest standard of cleaning and deep cleaning of the Fairmont Baku hotel.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Lead and supervise the overnight operations of the department to ensure service and cleaning standards are followed
• Handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas
• Actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetings
• Ensure Cleaners are informed daily about priorities in their section
• Perform assigned overnight cleaning duties as assigned
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned
• Comply at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
• Assists with Housekeeping Attendant daily duties
• Train and coach colleagues on expected standards of service
• Conducts daily inspections of guestrooms and floors
• Be knowledgeable on all current guest services and events in the hotel
• Inspects guest elevator foyers, storage and supply rooms, public areas and closets to ensure the quality of work of the Housekeeping team
• Notify Housekeeping Attendants of any deficiencies found, and return to correct when applicable. Re-inspect corrected public area.
• Reports any damage, special cleaning, change of soft furnishings etc to Royal Service on any issues in all areas of the hotel
• Must be able to perform all Housekeeping Attendant duties
• Work with all Housekeeping staff to maintain and improve guest service scores
• Ensures all lost and found items are sent to Royal Service.
• Ensures any Health/Safety matters are reported and followed up
• To conduct proper handover with Housekeeping Manager to keep seamless information flow
