 1. Instrumentation Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to the following:

• To scrutinize drawings and specifications; understand scope, design details and special problems to ensure that contract documents are correct, fully understood and special problems highlighted. Provide field engineering solutions to incorporate design changes necessitated by field conditions and advise Project Engineer to initiate variation orders to cover changes as required. Communicate variation in schedule, materials and workmanship to the Project Engineer, prepare relevant documentation for Project Change Requests and forward for approval as per the schedule of authority and company/ department procedures to ensure that all Variation Purchase Orders are in line with audit requirements
• To inspect control and instrument site construction equipment for compliance with applicable codes and project requirements
• To prepare Material Take-Off according to design drawings and coordinate with PSCM department to purchase correct materials 
• To prepare design and engineering deliverables including drafting works, survey reports, task risk assessment, method statements, as-built drawings etc., And take part in cost estimation analysis during preparation of bid proposals
• To check deliverables prepared by other technical personnel, taking part in Instrumentation surveys, inspection, liaison with client technical personnel on technical requirements 
• To conduct survey, report on existing Instrumentation installations and identify customer requirements
• To develop and prepare detailed instrumentation engineering and construction installation documents and provide engineering support during all phases of project to management and field installation employees
• To Carry out Technical reviews of all Tender bids from PSCM and advise accordingly
• To use HART and FF field communicator to communicate with instruments and set values 
• To perform commissioning works in accordance with standards regarding Testing and Commissioning requirements for ESD & PCS cabinets, DCS systems, F&G Panels, transmitters, detectors, valves, gauges, switches, analyzers 
• To ensure verification and acceptance of mechanical completion and commissioning handover packages in line with the agreed system handover schedule 
• To coordinate & liaise with suppliers, client, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams
• To ensure all health and safety documentation is in place, is appropriate, specific and amended as and when required
• To undertake administrative and technical site related activities

Education/Experience and Qualification:

• Relevant technical education or recognized industry apprenticeship
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field in the industrial construction projects
• Detailed knowledge of electrical codes and best practices
• Intermediate written and verbal communication skills in English
• AutoCAD skills are preferable

 2. Electrical Site Superintendent

Include, but are not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities

• To define and implement the Scope of Work;
• To coordinate and implement the Project Baseline schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• To assist with Project Closeout Schedule, Material take-offs and Submittal Review
• To provide Progress Report 
• To provide daily site information (Daily reports), including electrical work in progress, job site project progress, job site issues, receiving slips for material received, and utilization of equipment.
• To assist Project Manager to prepare Variation Orders for the delays or activities which are attributable to Client.
• To schedule, monitor, and control the day-to-day- execution of the electrical works, progress and performance of the project.
• To ensure the electrical installation is carried out according to design drawings and specifications.
• To work closely with each team member to analyze the discipline gaps.
• To prepare Material Requisitions according to design drawings and coordinate with the PSCM department the procurement process.
• To order materials in time to avoid project delay.
• To oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities;
• To drive the installation, testing, and certification of all aspects of the electrical installation;
• To record all inspection and test results on relevant certificates 
• Supervision and mentoring field personnel;
• To assist in achieving all project KPI`s;
• To co-ordinate & liaise with suppliers, client, in-house functions, site installations, and construction teams;
• To maintain a daily Superintendent Log, (tracking day to day activities, delays, project issues, etc.;)
• To create a clear execution installation plan, including planning job task labor, and material deliveries;
• Responsible for the review of electrical detail within the method statements and risk assessments 
• To ensure that ‘Toolbox talks’ are being effectively delivered on a regular basis and that the topics are relevant to the project;
• Ensure all health and safety documentation is in place, is appropriate, specific, communicated, understood and amended as and when required;

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering 
• Skilled field superintendent with at least 8 years of experience managing crews and running industrial construction projects.
• Soft Skills ( MS Office, AutoCAD)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Competent in reading Electrical drawings such as Single Line Diagrams, Wiring & Loop Diagrams, Cable Route, Earthling and Lightning Layouts, Cable & Load Lists, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Select correct pipe, elbows, flanges, hangers or supports, thread pipe, bend pipes/tubes using saws, pipe cutter, tube bender hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine and plan assembly
• Layout, assemble, position, grind, align and fit components together usually for hydraulic or pneumatic processes.
• Assemble and install variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic
• Installation of all type of transmitters, detectors, RTD & thermocouples etc.
• Installation of cable management systems (trays and trunks), drilling and cutting penetrations through bulkheads (walls)
• Pulling, terminating & glanding cables, crimping and creating looms
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams and P&ID, Wiring drawings, Block Diagrams, Hook-up drawings
• Ability to use measurement devices such as multi-meter, insulation tester, Hart Communicator, DPI 611 / 612
• Physically able to meet requirements of the job including, working in confined spaces, lifting heavy equipment, and working at elevated heights
• Terminating & glanding cables, crimping and creating looms
• Installation, Isolation, reinstatement and associated construction testing of instrumentation devices in NON-HAZARDOUS and HAZARDOUS areas.

• Drive the installation, testing and certification of all aspects of the instrumentation installation
• Record all inspection and test results on relevant certificates
