Position: Junior Specialist

Reports to (position): Software Quality Assurance Team Leader

Job purpose

Making sure the product delivered in accordance to the business requirements and has no bugs with better customer experience.

Main Accountabilities

1. Feed the team with detailed information on any defects found, and help the project manager and the owner to prioritize defects
2. Work with the DevOps and support to run tests in production environments after deployment to ensure quality
3. Automate and maintain tests
4. Ensure written code is up to set quality standards, optimized, identified trivial bugs are fixed and application secured
5. Find imaginative ways to break what appears to be perfect code
6. Other specific duties as assigned by the line manager

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• Education: Bachelor degree of informational technology, applied mathematics or other relevant field.
• Work experience: N/A
• License / Certificate: N/A
• Foreign Language: English (upper-intermediate)
• Computer Skills: Scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Haskell, etc), and/or Java EE.
• Product Knowledge: N/A
• Market knowledge: Having banking experience and knowledge is advantageous
• Other: Attention to detail, Analytical thinking
