Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Installation and configuration of systems/ server equipment
• Maintenance of the business and IT software applications
• Implements, installs, configures, monitors, trouble shoots and evaluates performance of existing and new operating systems
• Confers with database administrators, analysts or other system administrators
• On-time patching, upgrade and migration of the systems
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting of systems related to failures and determines logical solutions
• Maintaining and monitoring of systems availability and business continuity
• Evaluate and keep up to date all documents according to system requirements and perform tests

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (in IT area)
• Not less than 3-years strong experience of practical work with system administration, equipment, services and software listed below:
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2; Microsoft Windows Server 2016 ; Microsoft Windows Server 2019; Active Directory; DNS; DHCP; IIS; File Services; DFS; Print Services; Terminal Services; WSUS, CAU;
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2013/2016/2019;
• Windows 7/8/10;
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012/2016; Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2012/2016; Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2012/2016;
• VMware platform;
• PRTG Platform and other monitoring tools:
• General knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, Load Balancers, Proxies, Firewalls)
• Deployment and administering of high-availability cluster solutions: Virtualization (ESXi), Mail Service (Microsoft Exchange Server), DHCP Service, File Service;
• Server Storage equipment maintenance, administering and configuration (HP, Dell);
• Enterprise SAN storage equipment (HP), SAN switches (Brocade);
• Solid understanding of information security principles
• Experience in support of Enterprise server hardware
• Certificate of Excellence for: “Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)”, “Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)” is preferred
• Good command of English
• Fluency in Azeri or Russian
