Key accountabilities:

• Under general direction, is accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within project controls and commercial delivery.
• Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members.
• Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling.
• Development of project specific Project / Programme Controls Execution Plan to achieve the contract requirements.
• Development of project specific processes and procedures and application of good practice.
• Ensure coordination within the Project / Programme Controls functions.
• Review and approval of all technical output, measures, metrics and recommendations from the Project Controls team.
• Review and oversight of appropriate checks to ensure all data used by the project is complete, suitable and accurate.
• Responsibility for completeness, suitability and accuracy of data used and presented in all reports.
• Provide regular status and progress reporting to clients, projects and management.
• Support CAPEX estimating and EPC schedule development as deliverables under FEED or earlier stages of the projects.

• Able to work within a defined role with limited supervision.
• Able to make decisions and solve problems related to the Project Controls discipline.
• Responsible for own work product with minimal guidance and oversight from immediate supervisor.
• Establishes credibility with peers and supervisors and makes good use of their time.
• Exercises judgment in making decisions and knowing when to seek advice.

Tools and Applications:

• Advanced MS Office tools (including BI, SharePoint)
• Scheduling tools (Primavera P6 and MS Project)

Skills:

• Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent English

Experience:

• 12+ years of the relevant experience.
