Work Location: Baku

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and maintain master cost plans, value of work done systems
• Set-up and maintain project reports and dashboards
• Set-up and maintain benchmarks during the lifecycle of the project
• Set-up and maintain cost control related process and procedures
• Forecasts, controls, and reports project costs needed within an organization. Develops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports
• Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis
• Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems.
• Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks
• Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices
• May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members
• Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of project controls to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy

Requirements:

• Completion of an undergraduate degree
• Relevant experience in oil and gas business
• Excellent command of Azerbaijani, and English languages
• Advanced Computer Skills (Office programs)
• Competent presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge and experience on SAP/ORACLE type finance and accounting systems
• Having an MBA or master’s in business and finance is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience on PowerBI and PowerAutomate are an advantage
• SOCAR-KBR is targeting development of project controls department in interdisciplinary structure, knowledge and experience on scheduling/planning is an advantage
