SOCAR AQS has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 international standards for: Provision of Integrated Offshore Oil & Gas Drilling and Well Services; Casing Running Services and BOP and Wellhead Equipment Repairing and Testing Services. In May 2017, SOCAR AQS has obtained the API Spec Q2 certificate.

The company is currently looking for highly motivated and experienced candidates to fill the vacant role of Talent Management Senior Specialist in our Talent Optimization Department within Human Capital Division.

The role is responsible for the execution of talent management strategy of the company under the supervision of line manager.

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Planning and monitoring performance management process milestones and ensuring proper execution through successful coordination and collaboration;
• Planning and monitoring competency gap analysis process and ensuring full completion rates;
• Implementing succession planning and career development policy to meet organization’s strategic workforce needs;
• Identifying critical roles in organization and ensuring each of them are backed up with successors;
• Designing and planning career development options and routes for diverse people and making career development opportunities available throughout organization;
• Monitoring preparation of individual development plans and ensuring they are in place for everyone;
• Ensuring internal workforce needs for senior/leadership/critical roles are filled with internal workforce supply with succession planning and career development actions, where possible;
• Rolling out and monitoring competency development programs to support succession planning and career development and ensuring successful implementation;
• Designing and planning coaching and mentoring process and other on the job development tools and processes framework;
• Designing and developing curriculum and other non-formal learning options for leadership development programs and evaluating outcomes;
• Ensuring timely and quality data and reporting are available at all times;
• Training of all internal stakeholders on TM policies, procedures, processes and tools to ensure consistent implementation;
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

What you will need to be successful:

Experience:

o 5 years of human capital experience, out of 3 years in talent management (performance management, career development, succession planning) management experience

Education:

o Higher education; Bachelor, preferable degree in HR/Business/Social Sciences;

Skills/Abilities:

o Native Azerbaijani, fluent English;
o Leadership competencies and supervisory skills;
o Excellent communication skills and assertiveness;
o Delegating tasks and giving feedback with development purpose;
o Teamworking, cooperation and collaboration attitude;
o Understanding and some experience with coaching and mentoring techniques;
o Influence, persuasion, personal impact and motivating others;
o Understanding of business, organizational workflow and system thinking;
o Learning and development mindset towards self and others;
o “Can do” attitude, taking responsibilities and agile mindset, initiative personality;
o Positive attitude and friendly, collaborative personality;
o Solution and result-oriented.
